Hello, I just removed my jump seat console for a full console, with wireless charging. It is on my 2020 silverado 2500HD. Everything looks and works great, except for the remotes. My display says to service the remote. And the door unlock buttons don't work now. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

there is a remote detection module in console.   you should have plugged it in. you can try to re-initialize the remotes

Ok thanks. I plugged in the big cable under the passenger seat, but the was another smaller connection that I didn't plug in to anything. Also the console is brand new. Do you think it didn't come with one and I need to install the one out of my old one? Thanks!

Turns out the new console did not have the anti theft module in it. So I am going to put the one from my middle seat... thanks!!

What did you do with your old one?  Was it one that the center console opened on?

It was a console that turned up to a seat.. I really didn't like it. Sold it locally after I removed it, they really swap out easy.. watched a video on YouTube and boom done.. very happy with the full console

Did you add the usb data ports to your center console?

No I didn't, the ones under the radio and heat control were not in the way so just continue to use those....

I didn't get a full console, I just bought the same one except that it had the center compartment that opened from an online GM dealer, the original WT one didn't open at all.  I didn't want the full one as I still wanted to use the center seat.  Mine is a regular cab so occassionally someone sits in the middle
