22s on my Sierra

I can get a nice set of 22" rims that I want to put on my stock height 02 Sierra 1500 4wd. Tires are 305/40/22 that are on 22s and I currently run 285/75/16s. Would these bolt right on without rubbing it do I need to put a lift on my truck first???

Use a tire size calculator, simple as that. The 22's are a smaller tire but wider than what you have. They will fit but might rub on full lock turns.

 

The 22's will be equal is size to a factory 265/75/16 but much wider. Also they will be much heavier.

I did use the calculator but others say they have and haven't had issues with rubbing at any type of degree of turn. So I was curious if anyone has mounted that size in the stock ride size on the forum because y'all are amazing.

Expect the ride quality to suffer.c Less rubber and more wheel = rougher ride.
