Just curious, difference in doing it yourself? Still will be running pretty high RPM's, correct?

It does get overwhelming at times watching the revs go past 3000.

I moved from Texas to Illinois in a 24" Ryder and box flatbed hauling my car that had a Cat/Allison driveline. Came up through Denver and that was the first transmission I ever drove that had grade braking. I was stunned and pleased that a transmission could be programed to do everything a great driver can do and actually do it better without tiring out. I love this feature. In my 6L80E it is like landing an egg on a pillow smooth. And no, it does not bother me that it spins to the peak torque rpm with the throttle closed. Less stress that spinning to to peak power rpm with the throttle matted.
