Tpms off?

Anyone else have the tpms off a few psi?

I've checked mine with the tires cold and sitting in the shade.

The TPMS readings were spot on with my collection of air pressure gauges.

 

(I was using the exercise as a chance to verify that I didn't need to remove any handhelds from service)

 

Tires DO quickly warm and increase in pressure when the vehicle is driven.

 

Trucks that are sitting with one side in the sun will have higher pressure on the sunny side if they have been sitting there long enough for the sun to warm the sun exposed tires.

Mine are usually off by 2 to 2.5 p.s.I.
