Brian Ziegler Posted October 18, 2021 Posted October 18, 2021 Does anyone else have an issue with their phone volume being reduced whenever you drive? My iPhone resets it's volume to about 10% whenever I get in my 2020 Sierra Denali.
cltsig Posted October 18, 2021 Posted October 18, 2021 Yes, had it anyway. In Sound and Haptics settings, toggle off "changes with buttons". I have no clue why this works and why GM designed the system to do this.
Black02Silverado Posted October 18, 2021 Posted October 18, 2021 It happens with all iPhones on the new vehicles. Like stated above, why they do it is unknown. I'm sure there is a reason. To me if it lowers it, it also should go back to the way it was when you leave the vehicle.
A321Driver Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 (edited) I have the same issue on my iPhone 12 Pro and 21 Silverado. Turning of the change with buttons didn't help. My wife's honda does the same thing to the phone. Volume damn near zero getting out of the vehicles. IMO it is clearly and apply car play issue. I don't care if it is a MFR problem or Apple issue, just find a solution together... Edited November 1, 2021 by A321Driver
