Does anyone know where I can get a 1999-2007 classic single cab short box frame for a  Chevy/GMC 1500, that’s in good condition?  I contacted multiple auto body techs, mechanics, scrap yards, and I even went trough some people who are basically legends when it comes to them years of trucks and no luck.  I’m currently trying to restore my Sierra and it needs a frame.  Would prefer a rolling chassis but bare frame would work too.  Any advice or help would be awesome! Thanks

yeah the chances of you finding someone who is just selling a frame is slim to none.  You will want to just purchase a parts truck or beat up truck from someone, which isnt a big deal, but probably more then you want to pay.  Its not like purchasing a door or a bed.  Here in my state, these single cabs are for sale as trucks but rarely parted out.

Thanks for the help!  i have looked at a couple of the trucks from south, and even complete trucks that somebody don't want anymore but even with them two options, people want $5,000 for a single cab short bed that's rotted to ****** and/or don't have a motor, but have a good frame.  Of course I want to get a good frame so my restoration project will be done right...  but with my current frame being rotted out and cracked completely trough the left rear side of the frame, would it be worth fixing the entire frame or just spending the $5,000 for a used clean one?

5k for a rusted out truck is way too much in my opinion.  I might pay that for a single cab truck with high miles and some dings, but zero rust.  You should browse Oklahoma car sales, you can find complete single cabs in good shape from anywhere between 5 and 7.
