Hey guys I have a 2014 Silverado and recently the fan has been stuck on to where I have to un hook battery to get it turned off, and when this happens the temp gauge does not work. Any  ideas?

I'm having the same problem with my 2015. The fan turns off after about 3 minutes of the truck being turned off. It only does it when I use the heater.

Could be a faulty coolant temp sensor.

Yep, a friend at work, with 2014, just had to get his coolant temp sensor changed out yesterday.
Same thing, fan stayed on and no reading on the dash.

I started with swapping the thermostat in my 2014 because of the same issue. Didn't solve the issue, so after swapping the temp sensor...presto. Problem solved
