Those two sound like goobers personally and neither know an engine very well..."ummm, this is a part of something!" "Oh, that's a wrist pin I think!" and as he's holding the connecting rod, "this is a bottom".

Yet these guys are out there racing. He probably ran too much boost, leaning things out too much causing both excessive heat and of course a majore pre-detenation. I.E. KNOCK and it was all over from there! But I bet these rocket scientists didn't think to add more fuel when they cranked up the boost!

Yet as much as I hate BMW's, that M3 is going home in one piece and still capable of running sub 13 second quarter miles while our geniouses are sitting in their driveway waiting for daddy to yell at them for being morons!

That's CMNT's take on it anyway. :smash:

from what I read on the Mitsu forum that it orginally came from the guy had boosted it to around 450 HP, with internal mods, and run it regularly on the street. Arrccording to the guy, he didn't mind, because he was building a more powerful motor anyway.

Or he was trying to soften the blow he inflicted upon himself........

Well have to hope I can view it on dial up. The smart filter here at work will not let me view it. :uhoh:

You'll have to do something constructive with your time while you wait... The first Vid is about a 1.5 minutes and the second is 2+ minutes... :nono:

I think he needs to stop listening to that 4-banger bounce off the rev limiter! Those so called engine builders need to find a book entitled "The Anatomy of a 4-Cylinder: Identifying Engine Parts!" This is a part of the bottom of the thing from the top of that big thing with 4 holes that I think is called the block. If you dont know what its called, put it down and step away from it. You shouldnt be messing with it! If that retard was running alot of boost on pump gas he brought that whole mess upon himself! Anyways, that has to be the biggest loose chunk of block I have ever seen!
