Anyone hear when Heated

Hey all,

tried by search but no luck. 

After looking at many used trucks, think I am going New with family/friends discount.

Did a build online both Chevrolet and GMC and it Does Not allow Heated Seats.  

 

Did Anyone hear when Heated Seats & Steering Wheel, are going to be part of a new 6.6L gas, 2500HD, LS/SLE or LTZ/SLT, Crew Cab 4x4 New Build?

I saw the press release so I got hold of my rep and asked about this. She said they were leaving them off selected models but on delivery were giving the customer a sheet to show that it will be installed in the future when the parts are available. I told her I was fine with if it made my truck roll out faster. 

 So that's how my dealer is handling it. That is this past Monday information.

We probably won't see heated/cooled seats and steering wheel until 2023 models at the earliest.  And that's for those that could be equipped with them before the chip shortage.  I read that chips are becoming more readily available but still won't meet demand for the 2022 models.  We'll see!

Dealer told me the same as Len's dealer told him.  I went ahead with the order (3500LT with leather package).  Probably won't get her until next summer, so won't need heated seats, unless I don't like the passenger... lol

got he same paper with a CREDIT!!

 

and GM will install for free later when parts available.

buttons there..they light...but no heat
