2008 Silverado front driveshaft clunk

Is this amount of movement and clunk normal on the front driveshaft, going into the transfer case?

 

 

Trying to track down a front end clunk and noticed this when under the truck.

Looks fine to me. If your looking for problems, you could drop the t-case fluid and look for glitter - but I think your OK. If you want to see some free-play in parts, do that same thing to the front CV axle. Check out the movement from the CV shaft coming out of the front diff. LOTS of play there.

I recently changed the fluid since it was about time and did not notice anything odd. 

 

I did notice the play in the fronts as well when I checked those.
