Fog light operation question please

Every time my headlights turn on I must manually push the button to turn on the fog lights.  Is there a setting somewhere to make them come on automatically with my headlights?  I looked in the menus, but didn't find anything.  My F150 had a setting where they would come on anytime the headlights were being used unless I turned them off.  I have yet to find that setting on my new 2021 GMC.  Am I missing something?  BTW... Merry Christmas!

Nope your not missing anything, this is a GM thing. You can purchase from (I think boost auto parts) a wire tap kit that will do what you are asking.

Once you figure out how to get the fog lights working the way you want, then you want to get this as well.

 

This is to keep your low beams and fog lights on when you turn on your high beams.

So with the two different kit options, which kit will:

 

Make the fog lights on by the selves when the lights are in "auto mode".

 

and

 

Allow the fog lights and low beams come on at the same time as the high beams.

 

Both kits combined?
