Tire Size Question--Not found in search

Ive looked everywhere and trying to find a decent answer.

My stock 4wd elevation came with 275/60/20, and I've been offered a trade for 

Fuel Rebel rims with 275/70/18s. Im curious if these would fit my vehicle without any modification.

I am unsure of the offset, but the options for them are 20, 1, and -12. Curious if ill have any issues regardless.

You might have to trim the mud guards. I ran 275/65/20’s on mine w/ a level kit.

That makes sense, I am just unsure if it'll work. since my stock ones are technically a 33x10.8 and the new tires would be 33.2 x 10.8 and idk if the offset would make it rub or not

One is a 33" tire and the other is a 33.2" tire so you shouldn't have to trim anything at all. 

 

.2" difference is nothing unless its a crazy offset.  You need to get the off set from the seller and verify.

Tire diameter is non issue.

 

Offset.  Stock 20" Elevation wheels are +28mm offset, 20x9.  Looks like the Fuel are 18X9 so width is the same.

 

Offset and if they clear the front calipers are the key here.  If the Fuel are +20, +1 or -12.  You might have to test fit to see if they clear the outer face of the caliper.

Trail Boss and AT4 with 18" wheels come with 275/65 tires from the factory.  You should have no trouble with 275/70.

275/70/18 = 33.16"

285/70/18 = 33.71"

 

The difference is just over 1/2".  Manufacturing differences may vary slightly. 

 

A 275/75/18 would be a 34.24" tire.  That's more than 1" difference.
