John Danh Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 I replaced my tail lights with smoked lense LED lights. They came with built in resistors but still go into hyper flash now and then. They actually hyper flash more than they normal flash and it's random. I figure it must be the built in resistors failing, but I don't know for sure. I've search online to find remedies like replacing the relay fuse with an LED rated relay, but I can not find an actual relay for my truck model. Has anyone else delt with this issue or know what I can do to stop it from hyper flashing?
shakenfake Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 Wire in more resistors would be the easiest solution
14LTZ-1LZ Posted January 23, 2022 Posted January 23, 2022 Is your headlights LED? I came across this problem when I installed LED tail lights. I had to add this: HUIQIAODS H11 H8 H9 880 881 Wire Harness Kit 50W 6Ohm LED Load Resistor Fix Hyper Flashing Blinking Canbus Error Warning Canceller Fit Upgrading LED Headlight Fog DRL Light 2PCS In order to stop the hyper flashing.
