Yep, striker can be adjusted to pull the door in a bit tighter. I've only done this on an extended cab model, so YMMV.

 

My hinges failed at barely over 100k miles, and required extensive fiddling to get set correctly. We had to yank the door much farther in than normal with the striker to kill the wind noise and rattling afterward. Most piss-poor design I have EVER dealt with in my life.
