It would prolly be illegal in a commercial vehicle....

Probably the same reason they do not make the fuel pump easily accessible through the top through a sealed lid of some type.  Would make changing the fuel pump SO much easier and less costly.  Almost went the "cut out an opening" route when my pump went out.  Opted to pay $500 to swap it instead.

they make a tool to clamp off the hoses without damaging them. congratulations on the great maintenance changing the brake fluid as recommended but you are 1 of the VERY few that do that. in some European countries changing brake fluid is as common as changing oil I'm told.

Just flushed my two front brake systems and yes I am sure glad I did some that came out was very dark and grimy.  About to swap out the rotors, calipers and pads with the power stop kit so wanted to flush out old fluid before installing new calipers.

Just made a cheap brake bleed kit that allows me to flush my own brakes solo and woot it worked really good.

Yeah, I have some hose clamping tools I get from HF, one type looks like a C clamp and the other are vise grip like but had a (not sharp) plastic blade; both style crimp rubber hoses just fine, now if I could just remember I have those tools...

I changed the fuel pump in my Avalanche; it was a bi  ch. Of course (following the laws of nature) the tank was full when the pump quit so I borrowed all the neighbor's gas cans and still left some gas in the tank. You have to be VERY careful with all the plastic connectors and pipes, that plastic gets hard and brittle and it's a very special plastic made of "UNOBTAINIUM" on purpose so you have to go to the stealer to get news stuff; thank your stars if you find it's still available...
