I'd much rather them add back the foot well lights before the dang glovebox one. In the 2 1/2 years I've had my truck. I'd say the glovebox has been open about 10 times. -

Just about every truck I see around town is an SLT or LTZ. -
I'm guessing moving the headlight switch to virtual was for cost savings. The headlights are already controlled via the canbus so why not eliminate the need to manufacture a switch and take up real estate. I prefer a physical switch but I also realize I don't actually use it 99% of the time. The 1% of the time I do want it, I'm guessing it's a pain to turn the lights on. Probably 1-2 screens deep in the infotainment just like in the newer Colorados. -
Purchased a 1965 GMC 1000 series with a manual 3 on the tree. The linkage is frequently sticking in 3rd, most often. As such, I'm considering going to a floor shifter to alleviate this linkage problem. I've been searching for a floor shifter, but am coming up empty. Hurst doesn't have a complete kit, you have to purchase the shifter and linkage separately, and I haven't found anything for a 1965, plus Quite expensive. I've seen recommendations to use Mr gasket, but they no longer make a 3 speed shifter kit. Does anyone have any recommendations?? Mrob7 -

Thank you to all who were quick to respond; providing me with timely and correct info needed to get this correctly addressed today with the body shop. I will be providing this doc I created (with the help of AI) for them to follow. I made it as clear as possible. Maybe they'll consider this disrespectful, but they did not perform the install correctly the first time. If they allow me to (which I do not believe it is allowed for liability and insurance requirements) I will bring the bolts home and replace myself.
