I have a 2020 WT that I recently outfitted with a set of factory five spoke 2018 20” Chevy factory wheels. I have tried to re-learn the TPMS with 2 different tools now with no luck. Are they compatible or am I missing something. I know the take-offs have sensors because they have never been off of the downer truck.

I think I've read that the sensors have changed/updated between 18 and 20 model years.

The sensors themselves are different is what he is getting at.

The frequency range on a 2018 rim is not compatible with the 2020+ trucks, you must swap the sensors or buy new ones for 2020+ trucks.

It's the same thing for half tons, the 2019's used a new sensor compared to 2018's.

Wondering what came of your situation...Did you ever figure this out?

I was able to relearn my existing tires, but not the new ones (off a 2021) I just purchased supposedly have the stock sensors in. I can only figure if they are there, maybe the sensors are asleep and need to be woken up by maybe a rapid deflate. I'm at work, so it didnt seem like a good idea to rapid deflate, lol.
