I recently purchased a B&M extra capacity (almost 4 extra quarts) tranny pan.  Looks like I will have to go to the dealer to have it installed on my 2020 Chevy Silverado 5.3 with an 8 speed since I was just researching it and there supposedly isn’t a dip stick (I’ll have to check tomorrow).  I just assumed there was but it looks like I may be wrong.  So, if this is true, adding fluid to it is done how? That’s why I’m thinking I may have to go to the dealer since they will have the diagnostics to determine the amount of tranny fluid inside.  Any insights would be appreciated.

there is probably a fill plug on the trans some where. service manual should tell you how to check the level. dealer doesn't have a magic computer to check the level

I thought the same thing. The tranny fill very technical.

After taking to the tech who did it, sounded similar to any other drain and fill. Fill to top hole..
