Do you miss it?  I miss my SS Trailblazer. I know its not a truck but it towed my boat well and loved the lowered stance, and of course the Vette motor was fantastic

I do miss it, the SSS's are one of the best looking factory sport trucks made. They aren't the fastest, but it was a great all around head-turning truck. It towed my 20' Searay like it wasn't even there. Oh and I drove mine in the winter with dedicated snow tires and if I stomped on it on compact snow it would dig and go! Great truck!

I would definitely go for an SS version. In January I traded in my 2005 SS with 265k for my 2021 RST.

It was starting to show its age but overall it was a great truck. Never left me stranded. Towed a boat, car easily with the 6.0L.

I think it was less than 1% of all the Silverado's made those years that were built as SS's and with the move to "green" vehicles I'm not sure we will ever see another Silverado SS.

Really pissed me off when they started putting an SS badge on a Cobalt!truck1.jpg.7b9567b07086390547b227627fa68284.jpg

There’s usually an enhancement in performance with ss badging. I had a few since the seventies. The last was a trailblazer ss. The first was a 64 Impala ss. It was a 327 two barrel, power glide single exhaust. It was slooooow. Bucket seats and badging made it the ss. At least it was sharp looking. Of course changes were made.
