My 2021 Trail Boss didn't come with fog lights. I want to add some. Is it possible to replace the factory light switch with one that has the fog light option and connect to aftermaket fog lights?

Unfortunately no. Everything is run through the BCM. if you replace the switch with an after market one your headlights may not  work. I've seen others add after market fog lights using a separate switch or a connector that makes the fogs come on with the headlights, but you have to check the laws in your state on that. In VA the fogs have to be on a separate switch from the headlights and must go off when the high beams are turned on, otherwise your vehicle will fail the safety inspection.

I would just install them then Relay them to come on with the low beams.  About the simplest path.

Thanks for the replies. I stopped by the local dealer today and ordered a factory set with the new switch, comes in a kit.

You'll also have to pay them to program the BCM once you install them. I paid about $325 for the factory kit and the dealer wanted another $150 to make them work. I instead used a Fleece high 6 and tapped the parking light wire to the added fog light wire so the fogs come on with the parking lights.
