LOL west coast they need to see what the midwest actually has.  We have been holding at 2.99 for a few weeks now.  Even by work they have come down to 3.02 for the past week.

There's a reason, many reasons, actually, some of us won't live in the Midwest. The higher price of fuel out here on the West Coast is absolutely worth it. And I did live in the Midwest once. No thanks!

Knut, Texas isn't really considered to be part of the Midwest.

That’s true I'm being sympathetic to any area that hasn’t been corrupted by bad policies that lead to high gas prices. And crime. Among other things you seem to relish.

Our state has a lower violent crime rate than Texas and where I live it's virtually nothing. But, do you, cucumber. Keep that blindfold on regarding your state's own corruption.

Maybe you could elaborate?

Maybe we can cherry pick. My area has nothing. Otherwise I would move. Most cities are blue, rural areas are not. Guess where the crime is.

So you're saying Texas' red leadership can't even control crime in your undeniably "red" state. Got it.

Crime in populated areas kind of makes sense. Criminals need to go where the money and people are. That's another reason gas prices are high in desirable places.

Think what you want and justify your high cost of living. I’m very happy with our quality of life, low gas prices as well of low taxes.
