I wonder why the deal isn't a deal. It's a concept of a deal to occur sometime over the next 60 days. So far Iran says the Strait will not be "free", and still no nuclear concessions have been agreed to. So basically we begged them to relent in exchange for cash, with a likelihood we'll give away the farm in said "deal".

So the 5 cents a gallon drop this morning is an optical illusion? Sure the oil companies are going to slow walk the downward track. They’re making a ton of money.

You fail to grasp the reason this whole exercise was started in the first place. Your complaint is the very reason they can’t have long range dangerous weapons of any kind. They slaughter their own people for protesting or dancing anything else they deem inappropriate. So imagine them with a nuke or long range weapon. So send out your laughing emoji and stroke your TDS. Im glad someone finally had the gonads to finally do. What so many have said needed to be done for many years. They themselves said they were weeks away from a nuke. True or not it was the opening needed. It seems the only people against this today are the usual people with TDS.

Or is it the people with TCSS are the only ones who think there's something useful here? I mean, the Strait was open before the war, gas prices were high but almost reasonable, and there was an entire deal which allowed global oversight of any Iranian nuclear program.

Today, we still don't have their "stockpile" of uranium, there was no nuke found. I'm trying to reason with you here bud, but it kind of seems like the whole thing was a big distraction or boondoggle for profits. Because your last line kinda makes it sound like it finally penetrated the slab of granite between your ears that they probably didn't have a weapon.

You fail to get past the TDS. You have no knowledge of the complete agreement. This has afforded alternate flows of product through pipelines and alternate routes and suppliers of products. And ports. It has awakened the area to more protected of the strait. With Iran being weaker it will enable the surrounding communities to become stronger. This isn’t going to be a paper signing and a walk away like before. Guard rails will be put up and policed. Space force gives us eyes we never had before. They won’t get away with anything. Enough said from me.

Do you have knowledge of the complete agreement? Was it sent to everyone with TCSS?

I think you might be unaware that "Space Force" existed within every military branch before the branding/merch effort of calling it out as a separate force.

So there wasn't a weapon, we don't have the uranium, and we've messed up Middle Eastern oil infrastructure so we can enjoy high gas prices for ...how long? Make it make sense.

Did you even read this article? Even the title of the article says "U.S.-Iran Deal Doesn’t Mean a Swift Return of Oil and Gas Flows"

Remember, crude oil prices are based on FUTURE purchases by the oil companies. Gas prices are based on FUTURE purchases by the station. This article stated that many of the oil producing nations have to restart their processes to get the oil produced. Then the oil has to be shipped to wherever. And it doesn't get there overnight. And most of that oil is not coming here.

A graph will pop up to show where the US imports their oil from. Notice that there isn't a lot of import from OPEC and Iraq. Most of the US import comes from Canada. The US oil produces are selling their oil on the open market, which is why the US fuel costs went up. So you're correct, the US oil companies are going to slow walk the price downward.

The spot price of crude is still around $83/bbl. That's near-term delivery. Historically, that's translated to ~$3.50 national average per gallon. Still high. WTI futures are are just over $75
