From 4.3l to 305

Hi i put a 305 in my 94 gmc which had a 4.3l v6. My question is concerning the ecm. I had replace the wiring harness in the engine bay but kept the interior harness the same. So what are my options for the ecm? Since the 88 had a different plug in than the 94.

the 88s ecm was behind the glove box and I think the 94 is under the hood so you can't really use the 88. what did you use for a wiring harness? I would try to find an ECM out of the same thing the wiring harness is from providing it's close to the same year as the truck and v8
