Sure, you can always go back to a stock size tire. Just the looks of the truck are going to change.

 

If I was you I'd go to a 275/60/20. That way it's almost the same height as the 305/55/20 but it will be way lighter.

 

The avg weight for a 305/55 is probably 60-65lb/hr and the 275/60's are around 42-45lbs. That's a ton of rolling weight removed and the width of the tire is cut down by a lot which also helps with noise and fuel mileage.

 

Plus you'll save like $125-150 per tire by going way down in size.
