Has anyone else out there had to repair or replace the factory 3.5" flex pipe on their 6.2L GMT900? From what I can tell there is no replacement part made, and finding a shop that can supply or work with 3.5" pipe is challenging. It seems like my only options are to cobble something together or buy a new cat back exhaust. Do the K2 trucks use the same size flex pipe? There seemed to be more of those built with the 6.2L than the GMT900.

Would this work?   Amazon.com: X AUTOHAUX 3.5"x7.28"x8" Car Exhaust Flexible Pipe Tubing Universal Exhaust Joint Stainless Steel Silver Tone : Automotive

Yes there are universal flex pipes that like one, my problem is that it's the hard pipe with the spherical ball joint connection just ahead of the flex pipe where it is broken. I would need to find the proper ball joint end to weld to these universal flex pipes, and a shop can't make one if they don't work with the pipe size. Picture attached.

an exhaust shop with a pipe bender can make that but I would cut that part out back to regular pipe and weld the new flex pipe there. you may have to add a short piece of pipe
