1993 GMC c1500 5.7 4l60 trans  .power locks inop .power to drivers switch as switch works as it transfers power in both positions. Trying to find ground circuit .location any help be great .

I would take a look at the wires in the rubber boot between the door and the body before chasing the ground. common for the wires to break in the older trucks. sometimes the wire breaks but not the insulation so give them a tug and see if they stretch. the ground may be behind the kick panel driver side but I don't know for sure

both wires off switch re hot and ground , they reverse polarity when switch goes up or down , the ground for that would be one of the 18 grounds on the truck , probably drivers side under dash somewhere
