Thanks for sharing this! I can't believe they placed that braided ground strap directly behind the front wheel like that. They should have mounted it higher up on the frame behind the fender well liner to protect it at least. The strap on our garage-kept '21 is looking just fine, but I just coated it with Fluid Film as a preventative measure.

My 2019 Yukon had a plethora of electrical issues that MAY have been related to a similar ground in relatively the same location, however it's a standard stranded wire with insulation from the factory rather than a braided wire.

Did it need to be cleaned or completely replaced? If replaced. Was the ground wire broken or cut? I'm having the same issue. Is there a way to check the ground with a multi meter?

You can make your own grounding strap out of any heavy gauge wire, the proper brass or copper terminals, and a solid crimping tool for a whole heck of a lot less than $300 for some Chinese or Mexican braided B.S.
