Do some simple math and you will have your answer.

 

The truck weighs roughly ~5000-5300lbs depending on trim and what kind of stuff you keep inside it. A jack stand isn't going to holding all that weight by itself. And if two stands are holding up half that weight it's only 2,500lbs, so you would be just fine with 1.5ton or 2 ton stands. I suggest 2 ton or 3ton stands because they are wider and more safe.

People are lazy, they want the information given to them and right now without the work. You could also try sending a link to "Let me Google that for you". Actually, I might go use that on that habitual poster asking what tires come on his not yet received truck...

Dont just look at the weight rating but also the adjustable height. 3 ton jack stands will hold the weight but most dont have the height to do it safely, ie. you are using the last few teeth on the adjustable head. I went with a set of 6 ton jack stands for this reason.
