Okay I don’t know how many guys on here have base model trucks but if you do, post a picture here. 
 

I personally really like the low key rugged look of them. Mine reminds me of trucks 30yrs ago. 
 

my only question is how do the steelies and bumpers hold up to salt over the years? How’s the paint on the wheels?

 

I fluid filmed the inside of both bumpers, in the box, in the rockers, on the inside of the body panels and on the non waxed cross members. 
 

I also waxed the truck and even put some on the wheels for the heck of it. 
 

sgould be ready for winter.

I hope you mean you ordered it in Feb of 2022. If you ordered in 2021 your coming up on 21 months and I don't think your getting it.

I have an SLT, but I actually kind of like the look of the steel  18 inch wheels.  Painted flat black or plastidipped they might look even better.

They made me one in July of 2021 and put the wrong body on it. They would not fix it so I said build me what I ordered. I may have it by the first of the year.
