Useless @GMCustomerService bot...

So every now and then I see a number of responses pop up from this useless bot telling members that this (the problem reported in their thread) is not what they want to hear and to contact GM via specific email address. I have never seen it post any kind of usefully or helpful advice in ANY thread and EVERY SINGLE POST always says the exact same thing other than changing the name in the body to the name of OP of thread. I also have never seen any updates where someone actually replied to the email and received help. Everytime I see a post by this bot, all I can think about is that it's just a PR gimmick and GM is just trying to present the illusion that they "care" and are trying to "help". 

 

So has anyone ever contacted them using the email route and actually been helped with a resolution??? I'm guessing that it ends up just like a customer reaching out to any other large corporation and nothing happens.

 

It just bugs me everytime I see one of these posts. I think I just have way too much time on my hands...

I replied back to that bot and got banned!

 

I hope the same does not happen to you bro.  I too saw the post as useless and ridiculous. Makes no sense man.  It was some random oh that's just the normal Kind of response.

I just think that if customer service was so important to them that they have a "team" that also monitors social media, they could at least try and provide resolutions or useful advice in the thread. That would be way more helpful to other members on the forum.@GMCustomerService any response to this???
