I have a 2020 Trail Boss 5.3L with 45k miles. I recently got the P0449 error code. The code goes to the Vent Solenoid. Dealer says the part is fine but wants $600 to check the wiring. That is a hefty price for a wild goose chase. Anyone else come across this issue? My local guy says it's a bad ground but wants to know if I can get a wire diagram for this circuit so he doesn't have to open the wire harness unnecessarily.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having the same issue in my vehicle is still under warranty I have a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado custom trail Boss 5.3 L they checked the part and said it's fine Said that I have an open ground in my wiring and won't close to $600 to do a 3-hour diagnostic saying that they believe it's due to mice or chipmunks which I don't believe because there's been no animals under my truck. Did you ever find out the issue with yours?

Federal Emission Control Warranty Coverage. 2 years or 24.000 miles. "2021 Chevrolet Limited Warranty and Owner Assistance Information". Surprised me! Things have changed.

must have changed for 2021, i looked up 2020 and it says  Defects and performance for the emission control systems are covered for the first 5 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Silveradosid you made me reread the Emission Control Systems Warranty and now I have a headache. Lets suffice to say there are many Emission Control Warranties. Is the truck Heavy Duty (over 8500lbs GVWR) or Light Duty (under 8500 GVWR)? There are different warranties for different states that the vehicle is in. Is this truck California certified? (C.A.R.B.)   Federal Emissions regulations can also be different. This is inside the USA. Canadian regs. may also be different.

My take here would be contact GM Customer Assistance Center at 1-800-222-1020 and be real nice and maybe you get lucky.

You guys owe me a couple of beers LOL.

looked in my owners manual and for 8500 lbs and less is 3 years or 60k kilometers and major emission parts are 8 years or 130k . so it looks like it is not covered
