Can't remove turn signal bulb to replace to LED, 2019 Sierra 1500 New Body Style

Nothing is ever simple...

 

I've got LED turn signal bulbs I want to swap into my 2019 Sierra 1500 and I can't for the life of me remove the turn signal bulbs from the headlamp assembly.  Every photo and reference information I find online shows a nice big "fin" to grab onto the back of the bulb connector and turn, it sure looks like my bulb is not removable.

 

What am I missing here?  See the attached photo of the back of my head lamp assembly, and a photo of the "fin" everybody else refers to.

My truck is a SLT Trim.  I think it is actually already LED Turn Signal lights.  I went to change out my rear back up light as well and found it was also a non-changeable bulb, just a single plug for the entire tail light assembly.

SLT is full LED headlamp so no bulbs in there.  Correct.
