The dealership has been working on my truck this week. When I picked it up it was backed into a parking spot and had just come from the detail department. I stopped to get gas on the way home and noticed a scratch on the drive side rear end. I walked back to check it out to find that the first scratch was the tip of the iceberg. I immediately went back to the dealership. When I showed them the damage, they all said “looks like detailing back it into a tree”. The driver side of the bed and tailgate will have to be repainted, the tail light replaced, and bumper repaired. The service manager wasn’t there. I will go back to speak with him in the morning. 😡

edit: The truck is a Black, 2022 Silverado HD.

My daughter backed into a tree and the whole bumper had to be replaced, a tail light and the entire side of the box had the skin replaced and of course painted.  Cost about $4800.
