GMC trailer camera

Who has used GMC's rear trailer camera. I like the idea of having it work through the dash screen. But having a long wire harness isn't appealing. Did you run the wires over the top or underneath ?

I used it with our 5th wheel, I ran the cable over the top and had the camera mounted on the rear the same place as where the Furrion camera went.  I definitely thought it was handy and worth while, definitely liked the in dash view vs the clutter of another screen.  I did relocate the video connection into the bed of the truck from the bumper location so I didn’t have the cord hanging over the tailgate.
