So started last week, of course when it got down to -30 haha.  My remote starter isn't working. Door locks are fine.  Tried both remotes. Hoods seems to be closed - no warnings of any kind.  Tried a new batter and still nothing. It will work very rarely. IE was walking out of a mall last week and tried it, and it started.  But then wouldn't again until this morning once, but nothing again since.  Any ideas?

When you say tried a new battery, where you talking about in the remotes or your truck battery? How old is your truck battery? Not sure what the lowest voltage needed for the trucks to start but you might look into that if you have an older battery. I know I had problems using remote start a couple weeks ago when we had an extreme cold snap. Mine actually wouldn't start even with a key. I had to jump start it. My battery was only about 1-1/2 years old but was bad. Luckily it had a 36 month warranty so I replaced it. No problems since.

I would think that something electronic isn't allowing the signal to start it. sort of like the hood open safety switch. With that said, I'd check for any body codes. There may be a clue there. Just a thought on my part
