Order Update Frequency

When an order is placed for a new vehicle (Silverado HD), my understanding is that the dealer network is only updated once weekly on Thursday.  I don't know if this is nationwide or dealer hype but my question is does GM update order status on a daily basis so it can be checked by the customer or is everything only updated once weekly.  Still waiting for order acceptance from GM and no use to check it daily if it is only updated weekly.   Thanks.

no place for a customer to really check.  And GM updates weekly as you said.  Checking daily isnt going to make it come faster

Checking daily will only send you deeper into depression…
