I have a 2019 Sierra, I got the message with Break Failure, Top Speed of 43 MPH, along with check engine lights and other lights.

The GMC service department replaced my master cylinder and control module under my extended warranty.  Does anyone know if this will fix the problem?  I can't find anything that GM knows how to fix the problem.  I'm concerned that I will not have breaks again.

Well, 2019 there was a TSB for the messages and lights you are seeing about your brakes, hopefully they applied that update as it was a computer issue I believe. I had the same issue and others as well, there is a thread on it from years ago.

I have a 2020. At start, was randomly getting notice for brake system failure, do not exceed 62 mph. Dealership installed software update for brake body control module yesterday. So far, no more notices.
