For the last couple of days the truck started saying it's operating with reduced power - my Mrs. didn't bother telling me this until I got into it this morning.   When I started it the cooling fans were running full speed even though it was close to freezing and it had sat overnight.  MIL went out after about 6 starts and it was fine for most of the day then came back.  I plugged in a code reader and am seeing P1010 which is "P1010: Engine Coolant Flow Control Valve Position Sensor Exceeded Minimum Learning Limit".

There is a bulletin out for a possible software anomaly with 2020 models otherwise I can't find much out about this.  Any ideas as to what this might be?  I may have to resort to talking to the dealer about this tomorrow morning.  It's my only vehicle so need it for work so I hope it's not a biggie.

I found one person who had the same code on a Reddit page with a 21 also and it was a legit problem with a valve assembly.  Looks like a very rare issue.  In his case the part needed took months to locate.  I hope it isn't the same now.  Calling the dealer shortly to figure out what it might be.

Dealer says it's OK to drive as long as the MIL isn't flashing, here's hoping that I can use it until I can book it in for them to run the scan on it.

I'm still stuck on wondering what your mother in-law has to do with this.  For God's sake, I hope your mother in-law isn't flashing anybody.  If she looks anything like mine people would pay to hide her in a box and shop her off to some remote location.
