So Vortech just dropped the supercharger kit for the 2014-2018 5.3 or 6.2L Silverados. Seriously thinking about it. Would do DOD delete, torque converter, headers, intake manifold, injectors, fuel pump, and flex fuel for fun times. Shouldn’t be too bad for daily driving right? 😉

Had Hennessey Performance do the Whipple on the 6.2. Flex fuel AND Supercharger will require injectors. You forgot cam and better head gaskets. Definitely good daily driver no issues. But gas milage dropped from 17 to 14 in the city and from 24 to 17 on the highway. But no risk of lifter failure.

I'd love to know the profit margin on some of these kits now. $8,000 is nuts lol.

Oh it’s not bad at all! As long as you don’t mind stopping at the gas station and tire store a lot more often.

I would save a lil more for the PI and just run the stock HPFP pump & injectors. That’ll give you a lot more room to grow down the road. LT4 max out really fast when you’re on E.
