Chirp or Squeek

I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. From a complete stop both going forward and reverse (more noticable in reverse) right after accelerating slightle hard, there is a slight chirp or squeek that sounds like it is coming from the rear end. It only happens once (kinda sounds like a dog bark in length of sound) but it happens every time that I make a complete stop and then start accelerating but it has to be a faster acceleration.

Thanks a bunch if anyone has any ideas

Its a shock. A lot of times when one of the rear shocks are bad they will make a noise that I would desribe exactly as a little bark when you stop or take off hard enough. Something to check anyway.

Look into the nickle plated slip yoke TSB. The slip yoke can be greased, but if yours is still under warranty, take it to the stealership and have them throw on the new slip yoke. Just my .02

If was a shock would you be able to replicate the noise by jumping on the bumper or something? Or is there an easy way to check them? Thanks!

Forgot to answer this. More than likely, if it is a shock and you weigh enough and jump, you'd prolly hear it. I doubt this is it though. Spray 'em down w/ some silicone spray and see if it goes away then. sometimes leaf springs make noises like that. My brand new Yamaha Kodiak four wheeler made that sound when the bushings in the rear shock dried out.
