2500 overload springs, engaged early?

So I've got a truck camper, Torklift sells a way overpriced system (spacer) that engages the overload springs earlier, not sure what it does for premature failure of the leaf springs, but wondering what rubber (low priced) options could do the same.

Timbrens here too, takes some getting used to when empty but they're great when loaded down.

I had just over a ton in my 24 and it was almost on the rubber pads.

I have ran bags, helpers, you name it. Best suspension mod I have done for towing is the RAS kit in the link above.

New here but I've had bags and this is my first time with Timbren's. 

 

I tow what I would say is "alot" for the average person and I am really enjoying the ease of use with Timbren's if you're going heavy.
