Leather Bench a thing of the past?

I've got a 2019 Sierra 1500 that I factory ordered with the SLT base package for the leather 6-seat (front bench) and upgraded to the 6.2L. In some ways I'd like to trade up to a new truck but from what I can tell, this combination is no more. Is that the case? Anyone know of any workarounds? I guess I could possibly swap my front seat into the new truck, but that seems kind of ridiculous. I use the 6th seat just often enough that I really don't want to give it up, but I also wouldn't want to give up leather or the 6.2L.

Check with the dealer. Normally they will have shop that does aftermarket leather kits. If you’re adventurous try it yourself. I installed Katskins leather in a lower trim level truck before and was super happy. The install took a solid 10 hours but looked fantastic.

Agreed Katskins are awesome AND you can add heaters as well

Thanks, those look nice. Actually though, now that I look at it, there's no way to get the cloth bench seat even with the 6.2L anymore it seems. I might have a collectors item on my hands. Guess I'll just have to get to work on the underbody rust treatment and undercoating and transmission fluid change and all that and plan for the long term with it.

On the 2022.5-current, 6.2 can only be had with the electronic shifter which is in the center console only so 6.2 is console only on all trims. SLT the 5.3 and 3.0 diesel can be had with leather bench standard. Also, factory leather on the Elevation for example requires you to option to buckets.

Ahh OK, that's too bad. I think I'd always be just a little bummed if I gave up the 6.2.

It's alright, I'm working on seemingly disassembling the whole truck, between the rust cleanup, transmission fluid change, oil cooler line replacement (actually have decided to do a little DIY improvement here to try to prevent a recurrence of the too-common leak), and so on, so I'm planning on hanging onto it for a long while now, hopefully.
