2014 Silverado 4.3 210,000 miles and I have had the truck for 2 years. I have started noticing an issue with starting. Doesn't happen every time but it does seem to be a little more frequent now that it has turned a little cooler. I do not know how old the battery is but terminals are tight and clean. Found a Youtuber that said trade relays under the hood(starter/trailer). I did this and the truck immediately started but when I shut it off after a 20 minute drive, it would not start right away. After sitting at work for 8 hours, truck fired right back up with no issues. Anyone ever dealt with this issue? Thanks

Could this all be battery related?

These trucks are known to burn up starters. So it could be the starter itself or battery/electrical related.

Have the battery tested for the heck of it first.

Make sure the engine and battery are well grounded.

Quick check: When it won't start use jumper cables (one) connected to the engine and negative battery terminal.
