Google OS + Android Auto + "Trusted Device" = doesn't work

Just wanted to call out that you can not set up a driver profile, tie it to your My Chevy account, and use the Trusted Device option to auto-unlock your profile if you are using Android Auto with auto-start enabled. Oh well... just another thing GM had "good intentions" with that fell flat on its face at implementation time.

my 2024 is doing the trusted device automatically. I had to set it up in the truck through the settings and confirm on my android

And are you using Android Auto? Do you have it set to start automatically? If it connects and launches by itself, Trusted Device doesn't work.
