You asked, so..... I think it looks bootleg and janky.  In my younger/immature years, I would have laughed my butt of if I would have seen this in person.  Since I'm a little older now and can understand/respect the joy of being able to do whatever you want with your vehicles, time, and money, I say screw what anybody else says. 

 

Do whatever you want that makes you enjoy it more, and disregard the opinions of others who haven't volunteered time or dimes to your efforts.  You do you.
