My 2022 refresh 3.0 trail boss has its radiator leaking at the seam with 36,306 miles on it, at least I bought an extended warranty.  Talking to my dealer that I brought it to the radiator is on back order, part 86785339, with no date of delivery unless another dealer will give up their inventory.  Was curious if anyone has a good lead on a dealer to contact for this.

this whole situation is rather frustrating as this is the second gm truck in a row that is having he radiator replaced for a leak.  Really making me(and mainly the wife) question

gm.

thanks for help.

Plastic used in a radiator will not last. My 93 1500 had plastic in the radiator.

When you say seam are you talking about the top which is crimped to the core of the radiator?    A local radiator repair shop should be able to replace the seal.    Many auto mfg have not been using all metal radiators for years.

Just be  glad your not the poor bastard that has to change it. Takes two men and a small boy to lift that damn thing out of the engine compartment. Three cooling fans and shrouding also. Your not changing anything on that engine on the side of the road in an emergency.Warranty time is 5.7 plus the ac recover and recharge for 1.2.I'll  keep my spark plugs thanks.

Not much you can really do.  Verify with the parts department that they have a SPAC case on your part and buckle up.  Its possible GM has flow coming in on these but are being processed at one of their parts facilities, or they are waiting on supplier shipments.

If another dealer is "showing one" on the dealer locator, 99.9% chance its either on order or for a customer, just like the position you are in.

Sounds like the dealer located a radiator and should be here late next week.  After doing more reading looks like this small leak is on other trucks as well, not a lot but some.  Hoping the part does come in as they said.
