Tire size question

I ask because Michelin now makes a Defender LTX M/S2 in 275/65/20 that is a SL/XL load range tire.

I don’t know if it will help you at all… but I just put 275/65R20 Nitto Terra Grappler G3 on my Silverado. Stock suspension (high country, non TB), stock wheels. They rub the mud flaps just a little bit.

Wow, really? I just put the exact same

tires on my 2019 RST Z71 and have had zero rubbing, even on tight u-turns. 
 

amazing tires, BTW. So much meatier than the OEM Trailrunner ATs but equally as quiet.

What year is your high country. I have a 2022 refresh rst stock suspension and wanted to put that size on my truck. Right now I have 275/60/20.

Yeah, possibly just a different mud flap? I don’t know if there are multiple ones out there. The tires seem good so far. They look good and are very quiet. Drove in some snow over the past few days and they worked good, but anything was better than the stocks after I put 60k on them. Time will tell though.

Yeah my OEMs after 6 years were getting dangerous to drive on when the road was wet. If I was not in 4A, I was spinning at every stop light when it rained. 

 

So I had a typo above. My Terra Grapplers are 275/60/20, not 65.  Sorry!
