If you start it, drive it. Plugs will never get up to temperature idling to burn off rich start up deposits. 

You are doing more harm than good; oil never gets up to temp to cook out moisture just idling. 

Collector car guys will do a good 20 mile run to heat everything up if they crank a vehicle up.

Not sure if you found your fix but I was having a  similar issue on my 22 gmc 2500.  Misfiring on cylinder 4.  Can you  please check the soldering on ECM board?   Mine was defective.  New board and problem fixed.  Please report either way.
