I’m trying to order a fully assembled 6L 80 transmission from GM. When I go to the website and put in my Vin number, it list all the individual transmission parts. Don’t really want to build one. Looking to get a crate new or refurbished OEM transmission from Chevrolet. Anyone know what I’m doing wrong because it won’t come up in the search on the parts category.

You could always just call your local dealer and ask a question to the human parts person who answers the phone.  And perhaps buy from that dealer also.  You will get a bunch better service from your local dealer than some faceless order taker on the internet to who you can't ask questions.  Plus you will be keeping your money local helping people in your area rather than spending it somewhere else with someone who just cares about the dollar and could care less about you.

Eh, screw keeping the money local lol.

I'll give my money to the people I think deserve it. If someone or some place is going to charge way more for the same product, why waste my money with them. I've found that big businesses near me care way more about their bottom line than they do about the customer or the employees working for them. Big dealers around me don't get rich for no reason, they get rich because they charge a lot money for stuff and too many people don't shop around and see that.

The 6L80 is a six-speed automatic transmission commonly used in GM trucks and performance vehicles, known for its durability and smooth shifting.
