Have any of you fellas put a canopy on your 2500 HD ?  How does it look ,do you have any pictures you care to share ?

I’ve heard shell and I’ve heard topper. Never heard canopy if that’s what you’re talking about? I thought of doing one but I do transport taller stuff on occasion so I’ll stick with my good ole roll back

Maybe "canopy" is a Pacific Coast term?! I've always heard them called "canopies" around here, anyway. All my past trucks have had canopies/toppers/shells, but I opted for a tonneau on my HD as it sucked having to take the topper off whenever I got bark/rocks/etc...

I’ve had ARE caps on all but 2 trucks. I have a utility trailer for hauling anything that doesn’t fit in the truck.

Maybe your right Buck PNW thing ,LOL ! Or Canadian maybe at least that how most refer to them up here . I find Eastern Canadians use more American words and terms than we do on the West Coast .

Just put a SnugTop on mine. Personally, they are the best as well as being the most expensive. If you do get one, make sure it unlocks at the same time all your doors do. Not all have that optional feature.

ARE CX Classic with optional Win-doors, side windows open out for easier access to the stuff in the bed. At 6' 2", sometimes I need a small step stool. I keep a HB folding step stool on both sides of the truck.

Rjgvt   That looks great as well !  If sleeping in the box the side WinDoors  would provide a lot of ventilation , but then you would probably want it screened to prevent the biting insects . I need to look at folding step stools, as I can even check my oil without one I'm  a shorty at 5' 10"

I don’t sleep in the back but would have gotten sliding side windows with screens if I did.

Sorry for the not so good angle picture. In my driveway and I am hitched up to go on a trip.

Mine has sliding windows with pet screens to protect the regular screen from things hitting it inside.
